CCT 2026 Workshop

The annual “professionals for professionals” workshop for members of the Transfer Pricing Centre Association took place in Warsaw on April 16-17, 2026. Many participants hold key positions in transfer pricing within large capital groups. Therefore, the discussion was substantive; participants shared experiences and expressed their own expert perspectives on challenging tax issues.

Topics covered

Members of the CCT Association presented their presentations as speakers and developed the discussion in the following areas:

  • What’s New in Benchmarks and Data Management – Agnieszka Figiel / Grzegorz Garbarczyk
  • Functional Transfer Pricing Profile – Kamil Jaśkiewicz
  • Pillar 2 – Practical Challenges – Monika Noga
  • Using AI to Improve Reporting Quality and TP Processes – Anna Krzemińska
  • Updates to the OECD Model Tax Convention (Article 9) – Sylwia Rzymkowska
  • TP Cases – What’s New? – Krzysztof Liszka
  • E-Invoicing and E-Reporting – Marek Paciorkiewicz
  • Verification of the License Fee Benchmark (SPEEM Method) – Andrzej Podszywałow

The panel discussion, “What to expect in 2026?”, summarised the workshops in the context of anticipated regulatory and technological changes. A lively discussion ensued on the implementation of AI technologies, including networks of AI agents in transfer pricing management.

I had the pleasure of presenting the application of the SPEEM method to verify the results of a comparative analysis of royalty rates (CTM method). The SPEEM method is a last resort when comparative data are unavailable. In transfer pricing, we name such methods as “valuation techniques.” I described this method in the article “The SPEEM Method for Determining Royalties When CTM Fails.

Planned events

  • In the near future, I plan to conduct a closed-format webinar in the “Sip of Power” series for members of our Transfer Pricing Centre Association.
  • In September 2026, I plan to participate in the CCT scientific conference, open to all interested parties. This year’s conference theme is “TP Black Box: New Methods for Difficult and Unusual Transactions.” I will be preparing a presentation for a workshop on “Innovation Diffusion Models Supported by Stochastic Modeling in the Valuation of an Innovative IP Portfolio.” See my article “Deterministic versus Stochastic Models in Valuation.”

Those interested are invited to visit the Transfer Pricing Centre Association website or the CCT Association profile on LinkedIn. Detailed information will be available soon.
